Sparkle Athletic’s Star Wars virtual run is the perfect activity for this weekend. While the previously scheduled Star Wars half marathon weekend has been canceled, you can still bring the force into your current exercise routine with our virtual running events! Whether you’re repping Jedi-themed gear or adorable R2-D2 socks, you can show off your love for this sci-fi franchise during our #teamsparkle virtual run events.
Whether you’ve coordinated a Darth Vader-themed outfit or just want to show the love with some smart accessories, Team Sparkle is giving you an avenue to show off your style with our weekend virtual running events.
How Does the Star Wars Virtual Run Work?
Participating the our virtually running events is as easy as one, two, three! Here’s how you can join in on the fun:
Step 1
Choose a running location that is safe and comfortable or work out at home! You can run, walk, jog, bike, hit the treadmill, or engage in your preferred cardio activity.

Snap some pics and videos and share them on social media! Whether you prefer Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, we want to see what you’ve got going on. We’ll be sharing your awesome outfits, virtual medals, and anything else you wish to add to your workout story.
Step 4
Invite friends, family, your running group, and anyone else who wishes to join to get in on the fun of the Star Wars Virtual Run! The more, the merrier. We want to bring the community together and cheer everyone on during their exercise efforts.
While the Star Wars half marathon weekend we had originally planned on participating in is no longer able to happen, you can still enjoy the fun of fitness and fashion combined with Team Sparkle.
