2014 Nike Women’s 1/2 Marathon

Tell us about your past race/running experience: I’ve been a runner for years, I completed six half marathons this year and am considering a full marathon this year.


What race did you run? The Nike Women’s Half Marathon


Why did you sign up for this race? I ran it last year and it’s a great race.


What/Who inspires your to run? Running helps me push myself, it helps me constantly set the bar higher and that is my inspiration


What is your best training tip? Have fun! Don’t get stuck in your own head.


Water or Sports Drink? Depends on how long I’m running and how hot it is.  Water for anything under 10 miles


Tell us about the outcome of the race: I finished.  Ha.


Your favorite post-race indulgence? BRUNCH.  Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, potatoes, etc


Favorite part of racing in a Team Sparkle skirt? It’s sparkly!
