On Nov 3, we participated in the Race to End Woman’s Cancer in Washington DC. My mom (the older lady with a pink skirt) was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer December 2011. She is still fighting the battle against cancer, but this race united us as a family and we all walked together in support of her. We traveled from Memphis, Orlando, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore to be there with mom that day. We each picked out a sparkle skirt that represented a different kind of woman’s cancer. =) Thanks for helping us celebrate and support our mom.
