We love to be matchy-matchy, but not all wings exactly match similar-colored Sparkle Athletic skirts. But we think they look fab together anyway.

What are Racing Wings without a little glitter? Ours have plenty, along with elastic straps that sit snug on your shoulders to let you take flight with a 19″ x 19″ wingspan.

Can you really run in wings? You bet! Not only can you run in our Racing Wings, you can fly. The key is to follow our “Running with Wings” tips HERE. You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!

These wings are perfect for running in. I wasn’t sure they would really work at first. Who would have ever guessed you could run, and run comfortably, while wearing a pair of wings. But I was signed up for the runDisney half marathon and really wanted to wear a Tinkerbell running costume.

Make sure to follow Sparkle Athletic’s instructions for how to wear wings while running. The key is to anchor the wings to your sports bra so they don’t flop around too much (I used a safety pin in each wing), and then give the top of the wings a slight bend backwards (you know, for aerodynamics).

I’ve heard rumors that a girl has even won multiple runDisney races while wearing these wings! So, they obviously help you fly!!!

Plus, these wings make for really awesome race pictures!!!
